I want new carpet... What do I do first ?????

O K so I've decided that I'm ready for some new carpet... What do I do first????? just slow down, I know the thought of ,, taking out the furniture , who takes up the old carpet? Where should I buy the floorcovering? How do I find a good installer? All the questions can be overwhelming.. BUT just take it "one question at a time... #1 What Room are we working on?

The most Expensive Carpet is..............

There are ALOT of high dollar carpets. But straight to the bottom line dont ever pay more than , 30 dollars a yard (about 3.30$ sq/ft).... as far as quality for the dollar $30$ per yard is basically the highest quality carpet that there is..

Wrinkles in your Carpet?

Do you have wrinkles in your carpet?  If so that's mainly because it wasn't stretched properly.   Fixing this problem isn't a big deal. Usually.. call your local floorcoveribg store and they will be able to direct you

Floorcovering installers don't work 9 - 5......

. A floorcovering installer may start everyday about the same time. But it is rare for for one to get home at the same time every day. Might be 10:00 at night when you get home one day and 10:00 in the morning the next.. The reasons for that could be, your an hour and a half from home. Its 5:30 in the afternoon your worn out ready to go but you got not even two hours of work left. and you have a different house you have to be at tomorrow. So you take a little break, get some food, stretch your legs. And finish it up. After finishing up and driving home its almost 10:00(bedtime). The next morning you out the door and off to your next job. Only to get there and see they are not quite ready and could use one more day. So you reschedule and head home and its about 10:00 in the morning.

How long does carpet last?

The average life if your average carpet in your average home is, ten years. (on average) Now I have seen an old couple that we redid their carpet it looked new but they lived on it for 26 years. And I've installed carpet, and was back in 60 days to replace it. So it mainly depends on your lifestyle
